My goal was to develop a modular sofa for both indoor and outdoor use that was as modular as possible. It should also last as long as possible and be able to easily change into a totally new look.
Through dedicated effort and deep engagement here it is, the Generation Modular Sofa, which consists of 14 loose modules that can be freely combined like Lego bricks, offering unlimited possibilities for customised combinations. The cover and legs are easy to change if a different look is desired or if the sofa should be used outdoors after indoor use or the other way round.
The rest is up to you to create exactly the sofa that suits you and your interior design project. You can always change the shape, so choose the number of modules, colours, sewing details and quality of the upholstery and the type of legs.

The 6R’s
My 6R’s that I always follow and base my work on when designing products.
Reduce
The modules are produced in the highest quality to ensure a long lifespan and can be customized and connected in unlimited combinations according to the customers specifications on the number of modules, durable or recycled fabric quality, color mix and sewing details.
Repair
The covers can be repaired as they are easily removed and replaced on each module, so the entire module doesn’t have to be destroyed if the cover is damaged.
Reuse
Each module can be reused, and by connecting the modules in a different way or giving them new covers, it will transform the entire look into a new sofa.
Recycle
Since the covers for the modules are made from 100% biodegradable natural materials with a high Martindale or durable recycled materials, the qualities can be recycled into new textiles. After final use of the modules the individual parts of each module will be split and recycled into new materials or products.
Reproduce
Our goal is that all the parts used for the modules will be able to be recycled into new parts that are used to make a brand new module, which then in turn can be customized and connected in unlimited combinations.
Relove
By keeping the modules and only change the covers after final use, the next generation will be able to create a completely new look for the sofa by choosing fabrics, colours and combining the modules in a new configuration.
